(If you don't know what's going on here, try this) Good stuffSydney! The Big...Er...Meat Pie? Great city. Especially after Hong Kong it was nice to be able to breathe. Clean, attractive, Taronga Zoo (spectacular), bars and stuff, and this was the view from the end of the road we stayed on: Another huge plus: Staying with a friend rather than in a hostel. Nice house, nice beaches, nice people, nice weather.... nice. Bad stuffOh man the Westfield Tower is just... not worth it. What's the point of seeing Sydney from above if you can barely see the Opera House and the Bridge? Hey give us a ton of money and look at these reasonably boring skyscrapers! Mood stuffGeeeeenerally good with the following qualifiers: there was a baby in the house we stayed in, and she was often a touch noisy. Comparable to an angry fire alarm. And as we know, interrupted sleep tends to lower the dopamine a bit. That said mostly it was ok, and made considerably better by our hosts being the loveliest people in the world.
I never felt too enclosed or socially anxious, there were enough quiet spots, and I guess it was early enough in the holiday not to stress about money running out.
